Since 2001 the Tax Collectors Office has raised $75,512.53 for United Way. We have a 69% employee participation rate. The month of October is when we do our fundraising for United Way. Some of our ways we have raised money in the past is paying to wear jeans once a week, selling snacks and breakfast items and having a raffle.

In addition to the fundraising in October we also have employees that volunteer on the United Way Allocation Committee. This committee ensures fiscal and program accountability among agencies receiving United Way funds while meeting the social service needs of the community.
